5051 Per Lauretta (Allen) Boulton: "Came west to Dauphin, Man. in April 1900. Went to Bowbells, North Dakota in 1903 but came back to Canada in 1905 and bought land just 1 mile from Tyvan, Saskatchewan which was a new town, just opening up. They farmed till 1912, when they moved into town and built a nice new home, which became the beauty spot of the town, as Robert Allen loved flowers and he spent his time mostly in his garden. He did a lot of building out through the country when he first came to town to live as he was still quite a young man."

No one else was hurt and no other damage done. She was less than 10 minutes from her friends who were also going to the banquet in separate cars. Her death occurred in less than 2 minutes.

5067 Per Mary (McLean) Allen: Rebecca Jane (Jenny) Allen married Munson Beemer, brother of Benjamin Beemer. Jenny and Munson farmed in Patton Township on the lot adjacent to Ben and Mima Beemer. Jenny and Munson had a baby girl called Jenny born 1903 - her mother (also Jenny) died 3 days after baby Jenny's birth.

Baby Jenny Beemer was raised by her grandparents, William & Rebecca Allen, until she was about 8-12 years old. At that time, her father, who was farming out west, came home and took his daughter Jenny back with him. However, by the 1921 Census, Jenny was back in Iron Bridge living with her widowed grandmother.

Percy A Harvey Divorce
Annie petitioned for divorce on the grounds of desertion, the requirement being that the period of desertion must be 3 years or more. It was stated that there was a boy, Reuben Arthur, aged 3 1/2 years. The petitioners statement was, "My husband deserted me immediately after we were married at Wollongong, over four years ago. I sued my said husband for maintenance in October 1891, and obtained an order for 1 pound per week. I got out a sencond order for 15/- a week in about Nov./Dec. 1892, an order he did not comply with. I got out a warrant for his arrest, which the police have been unable to serve. I have no knowledge as to my husbands whereabouts, and whether he is in this colony or not." At this time Annie resided at Gordon. ****** Rumors are that Reuben was not Percys' child (refer to marriage and birth dates) and he didn't want to raise another mans child, so he ran away to America.
